If you are trying to play on the Minecraft server hosted at minecraft.touhou.ca you will need the following:

• A valid Minecraft account with Microsoft
• A copy of Forge Launcher, Prism Launcher, or equivalent, set up for version 1.20.1
• The modpack 'Create: Perfect World 2' available through CurseForge
• The following additional mods, which should be placed in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft instance; when asked, 'Game Version' should be 1.20.1, and 'Mod Loader' should be Forge. Note: most launchers have a place to download these mods directly in the launcher! But you can always download manually if needed. When downloading through a launcher you can usually ignore packages required by others as they will be grabbed automatically.

• Botania
• Patchouli (required by Botania)
• Curios API (required by Botania)

Contact me by whatever means you know how with your username and I will add you to the allow list. Then simply connect by entering 'minecraft.touhou.ca' in the server address box. Your launcher may tell you that you have an incompatible modlist, but this is probably fine. If it doesn't work, let me know.

Your game might tell you that a minimap is outdated; don't worry about it.
